JEANETTA LA-FOUR - Editor
The youngest daughter of a Norfolk farming family, horses are well and truly in Jeanetta's blood. “I attained my H test at Waveney Harriers Pony Club before going on to spend time at Waterstock House in Oxfordshire with Yogi Briesner and Lars Sederholm. However, eventing was not my favourite discipline, as I had been bitten by the showing bug.”

Jeanetta attained her BHSAI before going on to take the BHS Stage Four shortly afterwards. “With added experience I was accepted onto the British Show Hack, Cob and Riding Horse Association panel as a judge and since that time I have been added to the SHB(GB), CHAPS, BSPA, PUK and Side Saddle Association panels as well. I am lucky enough to have judged at all the major shows in GB including the Royal International and The Horse of the Year Show."

EMILY KATE HART - Roving Reporter
"I attended my first horse trials at one week old in a carry-cot and now showjump, becoming BSJA Leading Lady Rider for Suffolk in 2009. I recently graduated from Sheffield University and work as a freelance rider and instructor."

   Sarah Blake - Roving Reporter
"I currently have two horses, Shukran a pure bred Arabian and Indy a Welsh Section A. I enjoy all disciplines and I am really looking forward to meeting Absolute Horse readers and their lovely horses over the coming months. Please make sure you come and say hello if you spot me out and about."

"You cannot just have one Shetland pony! After riding horses and ponies for over thirty years, when the first Shetland moved in, it was not long before others followed, and the Burghwood Stud was formed. Shetlands may be small in stature but they have big hearts and huge personalities! I have been in the breed for eighteen years now and have to say Shetlands are a very large and happy part of my life."

"My family and I have owned horses and ponies for many years starting with my grandfather. My father is a former racehorse jockey and we have owned and produced our own ridden native ponies for a few years now. I myself am a committee member of the National Pony Society’s Area 4 and a Dales Pony Society Probationary Judge and in my opinion the Dales Pony is definitely the best there is. “Highlands have been a big part of my life and have allowed me to go places and meet people that I would never have had the opportunity of knowing if I hadn't been for these wonderful, beautiful Scottish ponies. Their strength and beauty are second to none and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to own and breed them for the last 29 years.”
